Where I'm From:
I'm from a small town and a big family.
How I Started Sewing:
I started sewing....well I don't remember when I started because it's something I just always remember doing. I made my first quilt during the summer between my Junior and Senior year at college. I dabbled a little bit with sewing when I got out of college, but it didn't become an obsession until shortly after my first son was born when my husband bought me a little Baby Lock sewing machine. Having a machine that worked every single time I sat down to use it turned sewing from something I knew how to do into something I LOVED to do! Every since I left the work force to be a stay at home mom, sewing has become almost an obsession. Hence the need for an Etsy shop as an outlet for my sewing creativity and a way to fund this sewing obsession.
My Favorites:
Drink: Dr. Pepper Cherry
Bread: homemade white bread
Color: blue or gray
Season: Summer (although now living in Michigan, I have a whole new appreciation for non-snow season)
Place: With my three favoritest boys
Time of Day: the littles' nap time
Smell: fresh bailed hay on a hot summer evening
Comfort Food: Golden Vanilla Ice Cream
